The ForeverScape

The ForeverScape is a a life-long continuous drawing project by Denver-raised artist Vance Feldman.

"The ForeverScape began on September 23rd, 2009 as a simple landscape to pass the time. As the first page ran out of room, the logical thing to do was to connect another sheet of paper, and then another, and then another… Soon, the drawing became an obsession; locked away in a metal case, the drawings follow me wherever I go. The psychedelic landscape employs roving vanishing points and vanishing realities. It is an expression of my feelings at the moment I make each segment. Each panel is a link to a memory, a place, a sight and a discomfort."

Vance is working on panel #119 and The ForeverScape is currently more than 100 feet long. For a modest fee, you can pay him to put a custom message of your choosing inside the drawing on an object you select – including a manhole cover, small billboard, taco joint, porn shop, mansion, public statue or magical bucket, among others.
