The Signtologist
Dan Ericson (a.k.a. DUNN a.k.a. The Signtologist) is a Denver-based artist who uses street signs as his canvas. Over his artistic career, he's recycled hundreds of street signs into unique homages to the musicians, actors, public figures and athletes who inspire him. DUNN’s work is owned by a number of artists such as Rakim, De La Soul, Spike Lee, Digable Planets, Pharrell and Wyclef Jean. Some of his faves, including James Brown, Che and Kanye are below. Dunn is a great guy - he's not just talented but has donated works to an event that we put on earlier in the summer for Ethiopia.

Looks like someone knows how to bump the contrast up in Photoshop or use the filters on photos they didn't take. Then used a tampon to poorly slap paint over their tracings. Why use signs when you don't really incorperate the original sign into the painting. Don't say to be green either cause I'm a bullshitoligist and calling this out, reguardless of who owns your work.
