Follow Me to Vancouver
Denver’s Citizen Pictures and Base2Studios recently provided design and editing for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) public service announcement “Follow Me to Vancouver.” Currently running on major networks and in-flight television for the 100 days leading up the February 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, the 30-second spot features 17 Olympic hopefuls inviting viewers to “follow” them to Vancouver, including speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, snowboarder Gretchen Bleiler and ice hockey player Julie Chu.
The PSA, which supports the USOC’s It Takes More campaign, was post-produced by Megan Cranston and edited by AJ Koch with motion graphics support from Phil Swanson. The video footage was shot on a RED camera by USOC and their new York-based advertising agency, then crafted into the 30-second PSA by the team at Citizen Pictures and Base2Studios.
