This is not a comment on the work. Just a general question I have struggled with myself.

Is citing how many years of experience you have really a plus? At a certain point, people look at your resume and say, “If you have that many years of experience, you should have won a certain number of awards, made creative director, worked at some great shops, and so on.” Your experience starts to work against you.

Any thoughts? Am I being paranoid?

I have seen some of the designs you have created for your clients. Very clean, professional and well thought out.

It's a conundrum indeed but the work should speak for itself. I say that as someone who's coming up on 20 years, and no doubt I look over my shoulder and see a lot of really great talented young folks coming into the world; it's really cool to see. But I always have "battled" competition from the days as an AD at a huge agency to a CD at a small one, to working on my own like I do today. If you don't want to do great work, someone else will happily take your place.

If you've got great work, you can talk strategy and results and actual BUSINESS with your client while showing some cool stuff that speaks to their needs, then hey, I think you'll be just fine and in fact thrive in the face of the young talent bringing up the rear. Until they can act and present in front of a client, sell their work, listen to a client and understand business, they're rarely a threat but fun to watch them grow into one--it keeps us all fresh.

And btw, some nice work here.
