Helping Denver Suck Less: Greg Friedler, Photographer
Greg Friedler is an acclaimed commercial and fine art photographer and one of the finest we’ve run across in a long time in Denver. His most coveted work is included in three books, Naked New York, Naked Los Angeles and Naked London—in which he photographed normal people in clothing and then fully unclothed.
Greg has been widely covered by the media for his Naked books, including being featured in an hour-long documentary for Channel 5 in Great Britain on the making of Naked London. His work has been featured in countless magazines and newspapers such as The Washington Post, The London Times, British GQ, The Los Angeles Times Magazine, The New York Observer, The Face, The Village Voice, and his work has also been included in over ten anthologies around the world including: Nerve, Paper, The New Nude, Exposed, Self Exposure, and Naked Women. Serious stuff.
In August of 2007, director David Palmer created a documentary capturing Greg Friedler shooting photos for his fourth and final book in “Naked” series—Naked Las Vegas. The trailer is great and can be found here for you to check out.
On his website, he describes himself and his work with the following: “Greg is an artist who is fascinated by identity and how people fit into society. His portraits attempt to unmask his subjects of their veneer and capture the rawness of their humanity on the page.”
Greg Friedler has now been added to our list of Recommended Denver Talent. Use him to slap an exclamation point on your work.

Greg’s naked series is simply brilliant! The images are a current and raw look at humanity. Personally, I think collectors will be scouring the earth for his books and prints in 100 years. What more could an artist want? Someone to notice now… and he got it here. Congrats Greg!
