Rolling Roadshow Poster Via Jay Vollmar

Egotist recommended illustrator, Jay Vollmar, has been up to some really cool work. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema’s Rolling Roadshow is a unique film experience that has screenings of movies at the locations in which they were filmed. Jeff Kleinsmith, Heads of State and Jay Vollmar were invited to create the posters for the showings of Fist Full of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly to be played in the small Spanish towns where they were shot.

Kleinsmith, Heads of State and Vollmar created the “conceptual” posters – meaning that no characters from the movies were to be shown. Three other artists did character portrait versions for the same films. The posters sold out quickly, but Jay still has a few left over for sale on his site. The price is right and the design is fresh. Check out the other posters here.

Jay is the man. In my opinion one of the freshest styles Denver has to offer.
