About
Description:
My name is W. Michael and I have been in a role of a Creative Director for a number of years on both the agency and corporate sides of the fence. I have worked with accounts that include Chrysler, MCI, IBM, LexisNexis, GE Capital, Cintas, NCR, Best Buy, Avon, Carpet One, Toyota, KitchenAid, Mitsubishi and many more. We are seeing the wholesale collapse of traditional channels such as broadcast and print. The focus is turning to the mobile market. No longer can content marketing and thought leadership alone drive lead generation and sales. Smart phone penetration is reaching the 50% mark and younger groups are leading the way with nearly 65% of the market. Social engagement engines such as apps, social sites, websites and email are filling the gap through gamification, freemiums and crowdsourcing. IBM's City One game site is now the number one lead generator for that organization. Big engines such as American Express - Small Business Saturday is used to reinforce the brand and drive engagement. B2B is dead. It's all about talking to people. Hyperr networds are cost effective and can yield big results that feature hyper tracking. Plus some of these more closed applications can offer the control that organizations demand. Every organization should have a social media plan that includes crisis management and schedules that ties into existing campaigns and promotions. As a former Creative Director for LexisNexis (a high-tech search engine for professionals), I was responsible for the update and modernization of the company’s image and brand. While at LexisNexis, I turned around market share slippage and elevated ROI through new and innovative electronic deliverables. I was also the Lead Creative for Carlson Marketing Group for its IBM Account. Within two years, I helped build the account from $50,000 to $22 million and won numerous awards while delivering Six Sigma quality. My other experience includes Chase, Humana Health Care, Elder-Beerman, Skadden Arps, Speedway, Toys R Us, IAMs, Reynolds & Reynolds, Mandalay Entertainment, Emerson, Berry Network, Toyota Corporate, KitchenAid, Merrill Lynch, and more. I have recently returned to Denver to a house that I have owned for many years to enjoy the mountains and the great climate.Name:
