I am a recent college grad with a degree in Fine Arts: Graphic Design. I have recently made Denver my home, and I am eager to begin a career in the design field. As the Senior Graphic Designer for the University of Nebraska Student Involvement department, I designed with a company’s identity guide and under tight production deadlines. I mastered visually communicating ideas to target audiences. The past year, I focused on branding the UNL Student Unions as Nebraska entered the Big 10. Through this process, I gained an abundance of experience in layout design through posters, logos, flyers, brochures, and booklets. My graphic design emphasis and work experience has made me highly proficient with Adobe Creative Suite’s CS3-5.5 applications Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDsign that would be vital in a design position. In addition, I have learned HTML and CSS through Adobe CS5 Dreamweaver, as well as Adobe Flash and After Effects. My experience and versatility as an artist makes me an excellent candidate for a design position. I have the motivation, passion, dedication, and skills necessary to be a dependable and successful graphic designer.
