I graduated in December 2009 from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Communication. In January 2010, I moved to Washington, D.C. and completed an internship with the U.S. Department of State in the Global Digital Programs division. Most of my experience has been in the online journalism arena--my major was Journalism and Electronic Media. I have experience with Content Management Systems, social media, blogs, etc. I was a member of PRSSA (acted as a staff liaison) and am looking to move into the Public Relations sector.
