Three years in Denver and I continue to come into contact with new people and projects that inspire me to stick around in this city that sucks less by the day. Five years ago while studying creative writing at the University of Colorado I created and ran an arts publication aimed at fostering dialogue between creative media. Since then it has grown to include an online community of artists and writers as well as a Denver art gallery and event space on South Broadway. As the director of a creative media organization I have worked with creatives, project managing a variety of design initiatives including an online social network for writers and artists, a print publication and numerous collateral materials for various events and campaigns. As the editor and lead copywriter of an arts publication, and having previously spent time writing for a Denver based weekly newspaper, I am well acquainted with the power of words and images to communicate strong messages in both editorial and advertising formats.
