I recently received my PhD in Visual and Cultural Studies from the University of Rochester and my research and writing specialties include (but are not limited to) modern and contemporary art, film and television. I'm currently writing freelance for a couple different blogs and for Ms. Magazine and I teach part-time at the University of Northern Colorado.
