Graphic Design Internship for Student Credit:
Boulder ski industry company looking for talented, organized, and motivated Graphic Design Intern. This internship is available starting July 25th and runs until December 5. Approximately 15-20 hours per week (depending on schedule of individual, hours are flexible and negotiable). This internship is ONLY open to students who seek college credit as payment. This is a great opportunity for networking and great experience for careers in the outdoor/ski industry.
Main Responsibilities Include:
*Assist Lead Graphic Designer on projects
*Help to organize and coordinate logos used in print and online materials.
*Work as a production artist to assist in creativity with marketing materials in conjunction with marketing team and graphic designer
*Help with ad development for print and web ads
*Assist in daily office needs and organization.
Skills Required:
*Experience with Mac Platform Adobe CS5 suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash.
*Passion for graphic design or majoring in graphic design
*Exceptional organizational skills
*Ability to anticipate needs and be proactive
*Meticulous attention to detail
*Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Ability to accommodate and handle changes at a moments notice
*Honest and trustworthy on time and ready to work
*Must have a positive attitude and be a TEAM player
*Excel knowledge necessary
*Mac knowledge necessary
*Ability to multitask
*Ability to work quickly and efficiently
*Sense of humor
This student Graphic Design Intern will be introduced to the work environment and to other staff members by our lead Graphic Designer during the first week of the internship. This intern will report directly to the lead Graphic Designer, and be supervised by the lead Graphic Designer as well as the Marketing Manager. This student will receive extensive feedback throughout the internship (based on work performance, attitude, and commitment) and receive a written evaluation of their work at the end of the program, as well as recommendations to employers if suitable.
