Winter Internship 2012
Do you love fast-paced work environments? Are you looking to learn a lot quickly? Are you a voracious consumer of news? Is your idea of a good time writing a blog post? Do you have ideas about how businesses can use Instagram to sell products?
If your answer is yes, we may be looking for you. Pure Brand Communications is looking for a solid intern to join our fast-paced, high-energy workforce to do a variety of things for a variety of clients in a variety of industries. At Pure, interns are an integral part of our team working on multiple accounts, gaining both industry knowledge and real-world agency experience in a laid back and creative environment. Our interns focus on both long and short term projects that utilize multiple skill sets.
Your unique internship experience at Pure will also be a reflection of the skills you are looking to develop. You will meet with a mentor throughout your internship to discuss your goals and expectations, providing you the opportunity to tailor your time at Pure to help you meet these goals. Your internship will also include conversations about post-internship possibilities.
o Recent graduates with background studies in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related area
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Strong willingness to learn and be an active member of the team
o Ability to multi-task and work independently
o Project management skills
o Tangible social media skills (you can’t just talk about it, you have to be able to execute it)
o Minimum commitment of 25 hours a week for 12-14 weeks; full-time a definite plus
o Ability to start ASAP
o Assist our integrated communications team with research projects, project management, media list development and maintenance, creation of media materials, media relations efforts, social media outreach, media coverage tracking, community relations efforts, writing projects, and editing
o Participate in internal meetings
o Tackle additional assignments as needed
