Journalist, Author, and Adjunct Professor

Denver-based adjunct professor and magazine journalist is seeking a summer production assistant to launch and manage fundraising projects, including crowd funding, in support of travel for a book under contract with Hudson Street Press, at Penguin.

Intern will create and manage a Kickstarter campaign and organize other fundraising events; polish oral and written communication skills, social media savvy and online marketing abilities.


Author is seeking a well-organized, self-motivated and ambitious college graduate with confidence, excellent communication skills, professional demeanor and social media and marketing skills. Applicants must have experience with various social media, and some online marketing experience and multi-media production experience (such as video) is preferred. A passion for media, storytelling and harnessing a meaningful audience on behalf of socially conscious endeavors is a must.
