Web Development Intern

Position: Web Development Intern
Location: Boulder, CO
Expectations:
Ideal candidate is extremely hard working, self-motivated, detail oriented, thinks outside the box, has great problem solving skills, and is extremely passionate about open source applications, web 2.0, mobile applications, social networking and social commerce. You will be immersed in a fast paced work environment promoting the values and philosophies Giantnerd. Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and coding new features and enhancements
- Assist with all aspects of the product lifecycle, from conceptualization to specifications through QA
- Analyze then refine usability and features
- Collaborate on finding and fixing bugs
- Documenting processes and procedures
- Project management and other administrative duties
- Design and CMS upkeep
Requirements:
- Working towards a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills (PHP knowledge is preferred)
- Working knowledge of SQL and database design skills preferred
- CSS skills and some web design skill preferred
- Excellent problem solving skills, self-motivated
- Strong familiarity with Web 2.0-3.0 Standards
