Journalism Intern -- Music Department
303 Magazine is looking for THREE interns as of January 15th, 2014. These interns will be specifically associated with the Music Desk, and will be working with other Music Interns, Music Journalists and each assigned Editor.
The 303 Magazine Music Desk primarily focuses on genres including, Folk, Jam Band, Rock (+Metal), Hip Hop, Electronic and Indie.
An internship with 303 Magazine will consist of 10-15 hours of work per week per assigned intern.
Some of these tasks include the following:
-Conducting research on upcoming album releases/concerts/artist events within the Denver area and compiling a list of the top upcoming events in relation to genre.
-Attending concerts/events (including 303 Magazine hosted events). [Press passes may be given to each assigned intern.]
-Researching, writing and publishing TWO articles per week that will be seen and publicized on 303magazine.com. (Article topics may vary weekly based on event scheduling, artist coordination and music distribution.)
-Any other tasks that may be assigned in relation to 303 Magazine coordinated events, releases and print issues.
