In this role you will be leading strategic engagements that deliver key findings, insight and marketing strategies to executives and clients. Internal teams and external teams will look to you to clearly communicate strategies and solutions in an informed, engaging narrative using effective presentation skills. Warehouse strategists are responsible for bringing industry best practices and leading edge expertise to every engagement as brand owners of their clients’ success.
Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. and 5 years professional experience in project management, operations, client services coordination and delivery is preferred. •Develop realistic, executable and repeatable go-to-market strategies that deliver client goals
•Deliver informed solutions that work and are unique to Warehouse and our clients
•Be client advocates, always looking for strategies, tactics and partnerships that can be leveraged to further our clients’ business goals
•Leverage market, customer and competitive insights to help develop executable marketing strategies and tactics
•Use analytics and research to inform the client’s understanding of their customers, their brand, and ways they can be influenced
•Educate clients about the ever-evolving industry marketing landscape
•Lead an integrated group of market insights and brand planners in the delivery of all requirements to support the growth and development of all client business
•Ensure a strong collaborative relationship within the groups and externally with key agency and client partners to consistently elevate the quality of thinking and ideas applied to the client business
•Constantly self educate and explore the marketing industry to stay apprised of effective and innovative solutions that deliver results
The Marketing Strategist will work under the guidance of the Director of Strategy and in cooperation with producers and the creative and production teams to perform a broad range of tasks including, but not limited to the following:
•Liaise with client to identify and evaluate specific business problems and/or opportunities and develop solution strategies and tactics
•To build strong, lasting client/agency relationships based on achieving progress in achieving clients’ marketing objectives with efficiency that results in profit to the agency
•Manage client conflicts and resolutions
•Lead and/or guide colleagues within Warehouse to develop unique and innovative solutions (technical, analytical and strategic) that reflect audience data insights and client specific business opportunities
•Work closely with our research team to inform clients’ understanding of their audience and ways in which they can be segmented and targeted for both external marketing and internal marketing efforts
•Leverage market, customer, competitive and best practice insights to help develop executable customer strategies, and measurable programs and tactics for our clients
•As a trusted advisor, educate the client about the ever-evolving marketing landscape
•Play a key role in Warehouse new business development efforts through contribution to new business pitches, proposal responses and other new business pursuit efforts
•Ensure strong collaborative relationships within the groups and externally with key agency and client partners to consistently elevate the quality of thinking and ideas applied to the client business
•Write new and current client strategic marketing plans, proposals, and creative briefs
•Oversees the day-to-day program and/or project execution: on strategy, on time and within budget
The Marketing Strategist is responsible for the servicing and profitability of one or more agency accounts in excess of $1M in annual gross revenue.
