Turner PR

Turner PR (www.turnerpr.com) is looking for a high energy, emerging media account executive for its Denver headquarters. This is a NEW role (our team is growing rapidly; if you’ve applied with us before, please read the description carefully). This position is for someone with 2 – 3 years experience, and reports to the Emerging Media Account Manager. You MUST have a personal passion for an active lifestyle, and be able to speak authentically about snow sports (ski or board), and ideally are familiar with terminology for basketball, running, etc.

Responsibilities include:
• Daily client relations
• Daily implementation of strategy across all social media channels (IE, you will be blogging, tweeting, etc)
• Detailed qualitative and quantitative reporting (Radian 6, Google Analytics, etc)
• Strategy development with senior staff
• Manage the department coordinator and interns
• Create and manage timelines, schedules, and budgets
• Participate with staff in brainstorming and developing unique, big ideas

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
• A personal passion for emerging forms of communication; a hybrid of techie and creative minds. The perfect candidate is constantly learning about new technology, ideas, trends, and tools. An early-adapter who asks a lot of questions.
• Hands-on experience with social media tools, both in community building and in targeted campaigns, including blogs, twitter, social networks, podcasts, etc.
• At least one year experience contributing to multiple agency accounts
• Knows how to build social media reports.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Is detail-oriented and energetic.
• Relevant tech skills, such as HTML, advanced photoshop, etc

Experience in the outdoor or sports industries: If you can ski, snowboard, play tennis and basketball, compete in triathlons and can talk the talk on a variety of social media channels, we want you!

Salary range:
• $35-45K DOE

NOTE: This is a junior role on an account team – if you have a decade of experience, you are overqualified. If you just graduated from college, please only apply if you have killer internship/work experience, as this is not entry level. If you have experience in PR/Journalism, that’s wonderful, but not necessarily relevant for this job – we need you to demonstrate social media knowledge.
