Media Supervisor


TDA_Boulder is a growing creative agency looking for a media supervisor to join the expanding media division. We're looking for a smart, hard-working, and motivated self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, contribute creatively to the agency's media insights and identify solutions for clients across the country. The position will support and report to the agency's media director across projects, which includes regional to global media executions.

Ideal candidate role:

-Able to apply strategic thinking and extensive business knowledge to build effective media recommendations across all channels
-Experience with managing all day-today media planning and buying associated with assigned accounts
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for building innovative custom solutions for individual client initiatives
-Working knowledge of media research tools and ability to analyze syndicated research to define demographic and psychographic consumer insights
-Ability to collaborate with Agency teams to develop strategic and cohesive marketing solutions
-Strong presentation skills and confidence in leading meetings with key Clients and Agency stakeholders


-Lead the development of effective integrated media plans and buys to maximize investment and deliver on client business objectives
-Work with Director to set overall direction for planning and negotiation strategy
-Direct and manage daily work flow to ensure deadlines are met including; POV development, campaign implementation and maintenance and post-campaign reporting
-Establish and maintain strong client and vendor relationships
-Oversee media plans including metric evaluation and optimization recommendations
-Clear understanding of keyword strategy development and execution of SEM recommendation and optimization in Google Adwords
-Train and supervise planners and assistants in media approach, systems and processes
-Assist in budget management to ensure Agency and Client budget compliance
-Collaborate with accounting team members to resolve media billing issues
-Strong negotiation skills across ALL media channels
-Coordinate with internal teams to create a holistic view of the business
-Knowledgeable and well versed in current industry trends and emerging media
-Lead by example and ability to motivate team members


-Bachelor's Degree preferred
-Media Planning and Buying experience required
-4+ years' experience in media planning (2+ years of digital media experience a must)
-Working comprehension of strategy development and required media math required in this position
-Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced agency environment and maintain attention to detail and accuracy

-Strong analytical skills and ability to demonstrate campaign results and provide a basis for measurement for media activities, specifically within the digital space
-Solid understanding of the principles of marketing and advertising – integrated media approach, creative and budget requirements
-Exceptional organizational and communication skills
-Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving abilities
-Exhibits strong written, verbal, listening and presentation skills

-Ability to articulate information and opinions with confidence

-Work in a fast-paced, very creative environment with a smile
-Ability to work with varying degrees of media budgets
-Personal computer and Mac proficiency required; MS Office preferred
