SUMMARY

TDA_Boulder is a growing creative agency looking for a media planner/buyer to join the expanding media division. We're looking for a smart, hard-working, and motivated self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, contribute creatively to the agency's media insights and identify solutions for clients across the country. The position will support and report to the agency's media director across projects, which includes regional to global media executions.

Ideal candidate has:

-Experience with developing and implementing plans across all media channels to deliver on outlined client objectives
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for building innovative custom solutions for individual client initiatives
-Working knowledge of media research tools and ability to analyze syndicated research to define demographic and psychographic consumer insights
-Ability to collaborate with Agency teams to develop strategic and cohesive marketing solutions

Responsibilities:

-Develop and manage effective integrated media plans and buys to maximize investment and deliver on client business objectives
-Monitor media plans including revisions, budgeting, execution, reporting, web metrics, campaign effectiveness, optimization and invoice reconciliation
-Execute all digital plans in DoubleClick (must be proficient in creating and assigning Spotlight tag implementation)
-Provide stewardship of all active buys, including pre-logs, post-logs, make-goods, tear-sheets and screenshots across accounts
-Clear understanding of keyword strategy development and execution of SEM recommendation and optimization in Google Adwords
-Track media expenditures to ensure Agency and Client budget compliance
-Collaborate with accounting team members to resolve media billing issues
-Strong negotiation skills across ALL media channels
-Analyze competitive data quarterly for all clients to identify risks or areas of opportunity
-Develop and maintain strong interpersonal/professional relationships with vendors and clients
-Actively seek out information on emerging media trends and how to incorporate new thinking into the big idea
-Evaluate media opportunities and present media plan/POVs clearly
-Build and manage flowcharts

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred
Media Planning and Buying experience required
3-5 years' experience in media planning ( 2+ years of digital media experience a must)
Working comprehension of strategy development and media math required in this position
Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced agency environment and maintain attention to detail and accuracy

-Strong analytical skills and ability to demonstrate campaign results and provide a basis for measurement for media activities, specifically within the digital space
-Well-versed in standard research and planning tools for all media channels, specifically within the digital space
-Exceptional organizational and communication skills
-Exhibits strong written, verbal, listening and presentation skills

-Ability to articulate information and opinions with confidence

-Work in a fast-paced, very creative environment with a smile
-Ability to work with varying degrees of media budgets
-Personal computer and Mac proficiency required; MS Office preferred
