We are seeking a talented Interactive Art Director with solid digital experience and a well-rounded design background to join our Creative team. As the Interactive Art Director, you will initially collaborate on overall campaign ideas with art director/writer teams and lead the interactive-specific ideas. You will work closely with the integrated producer and extended teams to both build out ideas and design development-ready assets. You will apply solid problem-solving abilities to ensure each design project is not seen in isolation. You will look at the “bigger picture” in a creative or advertising campaign and incorporate best design and technology practices to provide cohesive support of overall creative strategies.

You have 3+ years of agency experience and formal design training with solid typography, graphic, and interaction design skills. You have an excellent understanding of composition, color and imagery and have strong concept development and graphic design abilities. An in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including the latest versions of Flash (including ActionScript), Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver (and other web authoring/motion graphic tools), is required. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the capabilities of web browsers and user interaction are also essential. You are experienced creating and working with site maps, online ad-rich media storyboards, user flow, wireframes, and other information design documents for web sites and online advertising as well as optimizing images for web. You have experience working with various online ad design specs, content management systems and media requirements and understand user experience issues. You have created web graphics, animations, user interfaces, icons, style sheets, color schemes, templates and layouts for use in online advertising and website projects, ensuring site-wide color and typeface standards and consistency. Additionally, you have experience providing art direction to Flash and Web Developers and the ability to self-manage projects and work within time deadlines. You are team-oriented, self-motivated and have a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a similar field.
