The firm serves an international clientele from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies and has been in business for more than 15 years. We're hiring a Creative Director!

Responsibilities:

- Manage and mentor SpireMedia's design team.
- Establish and uphold quality standards for all design deliverables.
- Lead the design of client brand identities, guidelines and collateral.
- Lead the design of marketing websites and/or initiatives.
- Manage design resourcing and estimates.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers in application design.
- Collaborate with developers to deliver designs on time and on budget.
- Collaborate with project managers to assess and track estimates, billing, target dates and resourcing.
- Lead the design of SpireMedia's assets, collateral, web and physical properties in alignment with the brand strategy.
- Discover and develop branding and/or marketing service products.
- Give public talks, panels and interviews as a subject matter expert.
- Maintain a minimum quarterly average of 70% billable hours.
- Participate in sales activities and scoping.
- Participate in and manage internal and client design reviews.
- Participate in and uphold weekly department sprint plans.
- Be willing to travel on short notice.
- Play nice with others.
- Report to VP of Product Development.

Required Experience:

- 3-5 years experience as design lead, art director or similar position with direct reports.
- Mastery of Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Deep understanding of bleeding edge Javascript, CSS implementations and front-end development frameworks.
- Experience in sales and scoping.

Nice to haves:

- Experience leading client branding engagements.
- Experience in usability testing.
- Experience in general marketing, market research or voice of the customer research.
- Coding your own CSS.

This is a full-time position at our office in Downtown Denver.
