The Position:
The marketing manager will be responsible for building awareness, trial, and passion for Snack Out Loud by executing marketing programs that inspire consumers and retail partners to connect with the brand. Our marketing efforts are heavily focused on grass roots programs, including guerilla sampling, in-store demos, social media, and key influencer outreach. The marketing manager will drive all of these activities to achieve our goals.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 5-7 years in natural food or beverage marketing, with increasing span of responsibility
• Skilled team leader who has achieved exceptional results through leadership of others
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media campaigns with tangible results: specifically Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest
• Experience managing a field marketing team responsible for event sampling and demos, preferably in Rocky Mountain region
• Proven success managing across multiple marketing platforms, including in-store, events, web, and social media
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, to motivate and inspire direct reports as well as establish effective relationships with customers and vendors
• Strong attention to detail
• Power user of Google Analytics, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign.

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute social media programs to achieve brand goals for awareness, engagement, and advocacy
• Track and report on marketing metrics across web, social media, sampling, and coupon distribution
• Analyze ROI of marketing programs and recommend changes to improve effectiveness
• Inspire and educate internal and external teams as a key ambassador for Snack Out Loud
• Write content for Snack Out Loud website, press releases, and marketing collateral
• Recruit, select, train and manage high performing team of brand ambassadors
• Develop consumer insights through in-home research, focus groups, and social media outreach
• Attract and cultivate a team of key influencers (e.g., bloggers) who support and promote the brand
• Use insights from consumers, brand ambassadors, and sales to refine our brand positioning and marketing programs
• Create marketing materials as needed to support new initiatives
• Manage marketing suppliers and agencies
• Achieve brand marketing goals within specific expense budgets and timelines
