Regis University is currently seeking a Writer to join our Marketing and Communications department. The writer is responsible for raising the visibility of Regis University through clear, articulate, lively, consistent, and engaging narratives, stories, copy and/or content across multiple internal and external channels. This position reports to the communications director.
The Writers main responsibly will be Writing/Content Creation, Revision/Editing, Concepting/Ideation.
The minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications or an appropriate field. A proven track record of developing and writing both long and short pieces under deadline pressure. Exceptional interviewing, creative writing, copy editing and proofreading skills with an eye for detail. Strong knowledge of and experience using AP style. All candidates must submit a portfolio of lively and persuasive marketing copy and content. Must have a strong understanding of the basic principles of brand marketing and communications. As well as the ability to work independently, excellent judgment and a desire to succeed.
