Qdoba Mexican Grill

Qdoba Mexican Grill, a leading national brand in the fast-casual, fresh Mexican restaurant category, has an exciting graphic design position open. We are currently hiring a talented and creative Graphic Design Specialist to join our Design team at our Restaurant Support Center in Wheat Ridge, CO.

In this position you will be responsible for providing in-house graphic design and production preparation services while remaining within Qdoba Mexican Grill’s visual brand standards.

•Primary responsibilities also include traffic management and the preflight/prepress finishing of files according to vendor specifications (for print, web and interactive environments).

•Successful candidates must have a strong understanding of layout, type, color, and general design principles.

•Skills should include the ability to take direction and elicit constructive feedback from corporate and franchise clients to create a complete layout, working proficiently in all CS4 design software programs.

•Candidates should have the ability to conceptualize and design a variety of pieces, including: internal POP materials, direct mail campaigns, magazine ads, apparel, banners, billboards, email templates, static & motion-based graphics and interactive web applications.

Required Experience and Education:
•2-3 years of graphic design experience is required.
•Some production/pre-press experience is preferred.
•BFA in Graphic Design, Computer Imaging, or related degree required.
•Must have a current portfolio of work to demonstrate range of abilities.
•Strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop CS4.
•Must have knowledge of print and web production prep, printing processes and pre-press requirements and be able to pre-flight, collect files and archive materials.
•Working knowledge of Flash is required.
•Familiarity with AS3, CSS and Dreamweaver is preferred.
•Must be proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Must be proficient in using a Macintosh operating system.
•Ability to meet key deadlines as specified.
•Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and organizational skills.
•Must be able to provide a high level of customer service.
•Must be able to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
•Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects while remaining detail-oriented is required.
