Placewise Media is looking for an Account Executive to join our team as we expand our sales efforts for the Shoptopia Network, an integrated digital media network built around shopping centers.

Are you a “hunter”? Can you manage a B2B sales process from initial prospecting to demo, issue resolution, and close?

We’re looking for a high-energy sales specialist, a few years out of college, to balance out our senior, highly-experienced sales team. We need a strong, consultative professional who can take advantage of opportunities and persuade prospects to move forward. This opportunity is outstanding for an assertive communicator who loves to work with customers over the phone.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Prospecting via cold calling and contacting potential sponsors to present Shoptopia products and services
- Present Shoptopia as a new and unique way for sponsors to look at mall and location based media
- Work closely with sponsors to understand their needs and develop strategic recommendations
- Building and maintaining customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers to obtain new sales, maximize product/services satisfaction and ensure proper post-sales support is provided
- Having the ability to penetrate an account and grow our business throughout the organization and drive customer satisfaction into the entire account

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years sales or advertising agency experience
- An understanding of online, social, mobile, and on-premise marketing
- Is self-motivated, self-directed and a strong interpersonal communicator with a “hunter” mentality
- Prospecting and cold calling experience a must
- Ability to work well both on a team and independently
- Can utilize a strategic, consultative approach to selling and closing complex deals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
