Job Title: Graphic Designer

Department: Creative

Salary: $35-$40K depending on experience

Reports to: Creative Director

Position Purpose:
Primarily responsible for managing the Custom Point of Sale needs of the creative and sales departments.

Essential Duties:
Design of Custom Point of Sale requested from multiple sales reps (banners, table tents, signs).
Responsible for entire job process, start to finish: Art ideation and creation; production price quotes; ordering and working with various printers as well as self directed in-house printing and output; managing budget and shipping information.
Design of internal graphic needs.
Field external graphic requests.

Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
Must have existing high-level of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 5 (primarily Photoshop/Illustrator and InDesign).
Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis on art/graphic design OR equivalent experience and training.
3-5 years Graphic Design work experience
2 years experience with Print Output (vendor relationships, press checks, knowledge of print output options)
High level of organization to prioritize and self-manage 15-20 simultaneous projects.
Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Must exhibit initiative, outstanding work ethic, sound judgment and self-motivation.
Knowledge of personal (MAC) computers and related software.
Ability to work in existing New Belgium style to create brand appropriate graphics.
Ability to harness the creative ideas of others and project how potential ideas may play out in the marketplace.
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
