Magpul Industries Corp. (“Magpul”), a firearms accessories design and manufacturing company, based in Erie, CO, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Graphic Designer. The designer will play the role of support to the in-house branding creative team in development and execution of internal and external marketing communications, a wide range of online and print marketing materials such as catalogs, packaging, print advertisements, email newsletters, web graphics, tradeshow environments, etc. and both long and short range communication campaigns for the family of Magpul brands which includes Magpul and Magpul Dynamics. This position will work with the Marketing, Business Development and Product Management teams to help develop Magpul’s brand voice for the company and to make sure each groups’ needs are being met and the creative goals are on track. Along with the rest of the branding and markting team, you will be an integral part of producing exceptional design pieces in a widely varied array of medias.
Responsibilities include:
• Interacting clearly and confidently with internal teams to determine their visual communication needs, present ideas, and take direction from start to finish.
• Design, Layout, Manage Assets of internal communication documents to brand guide specs.
• Assist with asset management and organization- Graphic files, documents, etc.
• Assist with Package design production
• Assist with Photoshop production
• Assist with Web and Advertising design
• Assist with Apparel design graphics
• Assist with Product graphics
Requirements:
- Graduate of a leading graphic design program
- Knowledge in Adobe CS3-CS5: InDesign + PhotoShop + Illustrator
- Strong resume and portfolio that includes any of the following:: Logo design, Print collateral, Illustration, web design
- Strong typography skills, and knowledge of contemporary design
- Familiarity with social media functionality
- Knowledge of print production
- Knowledge of simple HTML
- Marketing experience a bonus
Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
• Salary: Competitive salary commensurate to experience.

• Background: Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer. The applicant must be authorized to receive Technical Data and/or Technology under U.S. export control laws. Any offer made is contingent on the applicant passing a background check that will include a restricted party screening and, for prospective employees who are Foreign Persons, on the Company obtaining all necessary export licenses. In addition the applicant will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Active or former security clearance is a plus.
