SUMMARY: The Multimedia Designer will be a key member of the team and an important part in building the Love Grown Foods brand. They will have five main responsibilities (graphic design, website design/maintenance, photography, video production, and copywriting). !is position will have the responsibility to manage a broad range of activities and complete them in a timely manner. They will be responsible for creating a consistent brand image and voice across various platforms. Most importantly, they will have the determination and work ethic to
drive the continued growth of Love Grown Foods.

REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ( job requirements are not limited to items on this list):

• Design and develop product packaging, sales sheets, advertising materials, public relations materials (such as press releases, press kits, and articles), brochures, catalogs, posters, signs, tradeshow and event materials, newsletters, flyers, etc.
• Consult with commercial printers regarding format and print specifications
• Manage projects from concept stage to final production

• Maintain and update company website including content management, research, design, and implementation of site improvements
• Incorporate design/photo/video media into website

• Take high quality photos using a DSLR camera of product packaging, raw materials, marketing events, public relations events, company and team members, etc. to be used on sales, marketing, and communication materials
• Perform all technical task in the production of photos (edit, manipulate, etc.)

• Conceptualize and create high quality videos using a DSLR camera for use in sales, marketing, and communication materials
• Record, edit, and upload voiceover files
• Operate non-linear video and audio editing equipment including edit controllers, video cameras, DSLR cameras, digital video storage devices, and audio mixers
• Perform all technical tasks in the production of video projects (edit special effects, composition, design, etc.)

• Write copy for all web and other marketing materials including product packaging, advertising materials, public relations materials, brochures, catalogs, posters, signs, tradeshow and event materials, etc.
• Proofread and edit all sales, marketing and communication materials for accuracy, grammar, punctuation, consistency, and formatting

• Project management as needed: product packaging, sales sheets, brochures, catalogs, tradeshow booths, training manuals, etc.
• Manage a budget, timeline, and work&ow for all projects
• When directed, hire and oversee outside agencies and/or interns to complete projects
• Maintain and archive photo library, video logs, and other documents
• Work as part of the team to implement/integrate completed works
• Perform other tasks as necessary

• Deep seeded desire to become involved in the natural food industry
• 1-2 years experience in graphic and web design
• Experienced with DSLR (Canon) and video cameras
• Knowledge of: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, color theory, layout and design principles, basic principles and techniques of public relations and marketing, typography, audio/visual equipment, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat Professional), FTP applications, video and audio editing so(ware including Final Cut Studio (Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, Compressor), iMovie, QuickTime Pro
• Prior experience with copywriting process and procedures required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Outstanding verbal and wrtten communication skills
• Outstanding organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills with great attention to detail
• Adapts easily to change
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work long hours and weekends
• Valid driver license and clean driving record
• Great spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
• Typing 40-50 words/min

• Strong personal interest in health and nutrition

• Possible overnight travel (2-3 times per year)
• Ability to work long hours sitting
