Digital Strategy Director
The Digital Strategy Director is responsible for the strategy and execution of K2's digitally driven marketing. This includes a refresh and ongoing evolution of K2's web properties and other digital mediums including social, advertising, supporting tools.
We will hire someone that loves digital, immerses themselves in market trends, reads voraciously, lives at the intersection of varied disciplines, thinks creativity and embraces science. They will solve technical, creative, communication, and cross-cultural problems. They will think strategically and know how to code when necessary.
K2 (www.k2.com) is a fast-growing global software company, based out of Seattle, and beginning to centralize its Corporate Marketing team in Denver. The Digital Strategy Director will sit on this team and report to the SVP, Corporate Marketing.
Responsibilities:
Own redesign and ongoing evolution of K2's web properties and other digital mediums including social, advertising, supporting tools.
Work with Analytics and the Field to set and realize appropriate conversion targets.
Selection and participation in the implementation of a new responsive web platform.
Work with global offices and distributors on the appropriate levels of localization.
Design site information architecture and design.
Work with Creative to implement site design elements inline with corporate brand strategy.
Creation and management of digital materials used in international campaigns.
Coding in HTML, CSS and javascript when necessary.
Work cross functionally with other disciplines including Creative, Communications, Community, Analytics, and Product Marketing.

Email, SEO, SEM, Web Analytics, Social Media and related technologies
HTML, CSS, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, javascript

Understanding of what metrics are important, and how to adjust based upon data
Understanding of core marketing principles
Understanding of trends in Web, mobile and social media.

Organized with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines and schedules as required.
