Job Title: Graphic Artist
Reports to: VP of Special Operations
Pay Range: $21-$28/hour

Job Purpose:
Under the direction of the VP of Special Operations, the Graphic Artist is responsible for creating new artwork to be decorated on garments using screen print, embroidery, and sublimation. Other creative artwork needs may include marketing material like hang tags, catalogs, email, web, and social media graphics. The Graphic Artist will be responsible for also turning the new artwork into production-ready files for official purchase orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Embracing Garb’s vision and core values
• Be accountable for all timelines and projects.
• Create new screen print and embroidery designs that are creative, on trend, and built for easy replication by production artists.
• Create custom art packs for key accounts, major sporting events, and potential new customers. Artpacks show customers new artwork options and potential garment assortment with the artwork.
• Assist production art with orders that require more complex design work.
• Design and produce sales/marketing material as needed. This includes flyers, email blasts, brochures etc.
• Design imagery for e-commerce website. Includes slider images, e-blasts, paid ads, etc.
• Be the technical expert at Adobe Creative Suite to aid and train others.
• Initiate and support process improvement activities.
• Keep Garb on the leading edge of design and technology.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Meet or exceed all calendar and art request timelines.
• Create new art that, meets customer and company requests, visually appealing and sells well at retail, easy to edit and production friendly
• Stay current on design trends, techniques, and technology
• Have Sales and Marketing Departments be raving fans of you and your work

Minimum Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in a graphic design position.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite with emphasis on Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to hit deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in embroidery and screen print design specs is a plus
