BlueModus is looking for an experienced Project/Client Manager.

Generic Position Summary

The Project/Client Manager is responsible for overall planning, execution, control and quality spanning technical, schedule, cost and contract areas of all projects under a given client (or spanning multiple clients). The postioin is responsible for managing the client relationship and is the primary client point of contact once an engagement is underway. The position is responsible for the development of plans and a schedule required to facilitate an integrated work effort and in conjunction with the respective Technical Lead, oversees the development of the requirements for satisfying the Statement of Work (SOW), RFP or proposal required to fulfill the contract requirements.

Education & Experience

• 3+ years minimum proven experience in a digital and/or interactive deadline-driven agency environment
• Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent industry-standard project management applications, as well as the full MS Office suite.
• Experience overseeing digital web initiatives, including eCommerce web site development, interactive website development, marketing campaigns
• Experience overseeing Web and Flash/Flex development and Web 2.0 development practices
• Familiarity with .NET, HTML, DHTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash, ActionScript, PhotoShop, Illustrator, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, Java and their roles in site design & development
• Experience with content management systems required
• Hands-on design and/or programming skills a bonus
• Bachelors degree is preferred
• Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional Certification or related certifications is desired.
• Knowledge of core project management competencies of various size/types of software development projects a plus.
• Must have proven skills in managing multiple projects and success in delivering projects on-time, on-budget and within scope.
• Demonstrated proficiency with project risk assessment, mitigation planning and implementation, management.
• Ability to interface and communicate with top-level management and key stakeholders especially to facilitate selection, prioritization and approval for projects.
• Experience working with solution vendors and managing cost estimates with the greatest benefit for the company.
• Experience negotiating and managing multiple vendor/sub-contractor contracts.
• Sales support experience.
