The Band Inc is a interactive TV agency and Rep Firm in denver Colorado. We build interactive applications for the television across Cable, Satellite, Telco, and CE devices.

We are looking for a interactive designer to assist in creating applications for TV, Mobile, and the Desktop. The ideal candidate would be able to create functional specifications, flow charts, and wireframes and then turn those into fully rendered designs in photoshop or illustrator. The next step may be to create interactive prototypes of the experiences in Flash or Flash Catalyst.

The ideal candidate has solid online experience, excellent design and typography skills, and a top-notch portfolio. This Designer will work closely with the creative leads, collaborating with other designers, to concept, design and execute interactive tv campaigns, desktop applications, microsites, widgets, mobile apps etc.

Responsibilities:
-Produce graphic sketches, design comps and copy layouts for a variety of project types
-Execute creative concepts into clear, effective, compelling designs
-Work with the creative and technical team to execute projects from concept to launch
-Adhere to proven design concepts, procedures and best practices
-Stay current with latest trends and technology

Requirements:
-3+ years of interactive design experience, at least 2 years of experience in an agency environment
-BFA is a plus
-Stellar portfolio and solid typography skills
-Photoshop and Illustrator is a must
-Flash 10 is a must, AS 3.0 knowledge/familiarity is a plus
-After Effects , motion graphics, video, CSS, and HTML knowledge is a plus
-Solid understanding of web standards and best practices
