Sales Director
The digital economy is booming. Akavit, a leading and growing interactive digital agency, is seeking an experienced sales professional who is looking for a new challenge in an expanding industry.
Success in the sales position requires a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, who is self motivating, strategic, displays exceptional time management skills, has strong organizational/communication skills and is driven by the desire to over-deliver on sales quotas in order to maximize company revenue. The ideal candidate is a strategic seller who understands that their achievements directly impact the company and team on a daily basis. This position will report directly to the CEO.
Job Responsibilities:
:: Sell web-based solutions to end clients and agency channel partners
:: Manage and sell into specified vertical markets as well assisting in selling across markets
:: Directly and indirectly develop new business
:: Market, sell and present directly to clients and prospects
:: Write and present proposals to (potential) clients
:: Coordinate and attend conferences & trade shows to develop new business opportunities and sales channels/verticals
:: Work with the strategy and production teams in developing creative solutions to the business needs of the client
Required Skills & Experience:
:: Experience selling B2B, with deep vertical market development experience
:: A strategic seller who can independently develop sales channels and new markets
:: Self-starter, positive attitude, organized, tenacious, a passion to learn and succeed
:: Ability to develop and present a sales program to an individual or a group
:: Proven track record in successfully selling digital projects and marketing solutions
:: Understanding of business-to-business internet/web technologies, applications & the digital industry lingo
