Boulder Based agency is looking for a “hands-on” Controller to oversee and manage agency’s financials. The agency specializes in high impact events, lifestyle, entertainment and presence marketing campaigns that live both online and offline for global brands. ONLY CANDIDATES THAT HAVE MARKETING AND AGENCY EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.

About the position
The Controller will successfully manage all aspects of A/P, A/R, payroll, cash flow projections, banking and employee benefits, as well as direct reports with bookkeeping responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
• Accounting
o AP/AR
o Scheduled AP payments
o Receivables with assistance from account teams
o Daily check requests
• Banking
o Relationships
o Bank reconciliations
o Funds transfers
 Line of Credit
• Develop over all Cash Flow projections
• Financial statements
Analysis of General Ledger Accounts
Preparation of P&L., Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows
• Bookkeeping
o Training and managing personnel with bookkeeping responsibilities
o Reporting
• Payroll
o Payroll processing
o Employee records
• Benefits
o Retirement plan
o Insurance (Individual and workers compensation)
• Data Integrity
o Ensuring all financial data is current and accurate
o Reporting needs of various departments
• Taxes and reporting
 Work with tax accountants on year end tax return, quarterly tax payments and various adjustments.
Internal Controls
Maintenance of proper internal controls throughout the organization
Insurance
Management of Policies

Requirements:
FINANCE and ACCOUNTING
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Quickbooks expert
• Competent in use of Excel
• Cash Flow Management
o Managing tracking and reporting all expenses
• Payroll management skills for successful:
o Management, tracking, and reporting of payroll, all employee benefits, and taxes
o Maintenance of all employee benefits
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and demonstrated success working in an extremely fast-paced environment
• Solid and proven budget management skills
• Extremely efficient, organized, and detail oriented

Experience:
• Proven track record of successfully managing accounting business of similar size or larger.
• 7 – 10 years of experience in similar role
