Rocky Mountain Institute
Rocky Mountain Institute is an independent, entrepreneurial, nonprofit think-and-do tank that drives the efficient and restorative use of resources. Our design team is very busy and we are looking for a talented Freelance Graphic Designer with great attention to detail, experience in report design and a passion for RMI’s work.
The person we are looking for, will be a midlevel designer with extensive report design experience (including proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and intense curiosity regarding RMI’s work. The designer will design and produce engaging reports (within brand standards), including the creation of info graphics, image concepts and search, table design and navigation ideas. He or she needs to be able to use paragraph/character styles, listen, come up with creative solutions, be reliable and committed to deadlines and accommodating on changes and time shifts.
This is a longer-term freelance relationship starting with one specific project. For this project, we will need the project designer to be available starting approximately October 29th for at least 2 weeks. Subsequent projects will require 60+ hours and deadlines will vary. We need someone who can dedicate these hours and also provide flexibility with their time. You can choose to work in-house or work from home.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable designer who is passionate about our work!
