Senior Designer - On-Site - Part Time
The next member of our creative team will:
Present a portfolio that represents a range of design styles, diversity of projects, and a clear understanding of balancing brand guidelines and creative briefs with intelligent and interesting solutions.
Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a creative environment.
Have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently — being organized, resourceful, thoughtful and detail-oriented in your approach to each client and project.
Bring knowledge of current design trends into design challenges to provide unique and relevant solutions.
Thrive on the energy of a fast-paced, open and collaborative environment — using a positive attitude, versatility and flexibility to make the most of your creative skills.
Communicate with team members regularly and clearly about projects, budgets and schedules.
Appreciate constructive criticism and feedback.
Excel at design and production, but also embrace exceptional file prep, delivery and immediate archiving.
Build working relationships with clients to gain a broad understanding of their business objectives.
Develop accurate, on-brand collateral based on client objectives and specifications, and clearly communicate information about each design solution to the client.
Be quick and comfortable working in Adobe CS — easily moving between Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign — and also comfortable working with PowerPoint and Word.
Have knowledge of current industry-standard interactive practices and the willingness to jump in and help out with website styling and content population.
Balance multiple projects while meeting related deadlines, coordinate direction and information from various sources, self-manage schedules and tasks, and track and bill time to clients — and all with grace under pressure.
