Roles and Responsibilities
June 2014

OBJECTIVE: Increase brand awareness and engagement through regular updates of social media and customer outreach

PLATFORMS:
- Facebook - Instagram - Twitter
- Blog + Web Updates - Pinterest - Mailchimp (email communication)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facebook:
- Work with Chief Product Officer (CPO) and Co-Founder + Sales and Marketing team to establish bi-weekly or monthly content strategy
- Update Facebook 4+ days per week
- Respond or arrange response for Facebook inquiries and communication w/in 24 hours of receipt
- Allocate paid advertising support (start: $100 weekly budget)
Key Metric: Set monthly goals for Facebook likes and Engagement and report weekly

Twitter:
- Work with CPO to provide timely Twitter updates and responses using cross-platform content and relevant Twitter/online trends
- Provide CPO with content to update Twitter 4+ days per week
Key Metric: Deliver content for 4+ twitter posts

Mailchimp:
- Collaborate with CPO to send bi-weekly “MM Local Loop” emails on Wed or Thursday mornings to customers which include:
- Seasonally relevant stories/content
- Featured product content
- Key sales/event opportunities for MML
- Determine content authors(you or SM Team Member) and ideas week prior
- Provide content to CPO and SM Team for review 24 hours in advance of send time
Key Metric: Set goal for Open Rate and Click rate and share report 48 hours after each loop

Blog + Web Updates:
- Support key online content platforms with longer format blog posts and recipes that help drive traffic to MML website and sales funnel
- Provide occasional support (if time allows) to update and optimize web presence
Key Metrics: Traffic referrals from SM platforms to MML website, reported by Community and Sales Manager weekly

Pinterest:
- Help to update Pinterest account with recipes and product use ideas
- Respond or arrange response for Pinterest inquiries and communication w/in 24 hours of receipt
Key Metrics: Traffic referrals from SM platforms to MML website, reported by Community and Sales Manager weekly

COMPENSATION:
$1,000-1,500 monthly

Hours:
10-20 hours/week
