Intelligent Demand is looking for a self-motivated Marketing Specialist/Manager, Paid Media with 2-3 years of online marketing experience and exceptional analytical skills. The Marketing Specialist role is a lynchpin position that spans all aspects of paid media marketing (search, social, email, teleprospecting, etc), including campaign goal setting, architecture, ad writing, budgeting, execution and data-driven optimization. The Marketing Specialist will develop daily, weekly and monthly internal and client-facing dashboards. The Marketing Specialist will harvest raw performance data and translate that information into actionable steps. This role will be responsible for the effective application of clients’ media budgets and demonstrate ability to shift budgets and make quick optimizations. The Marketing Specialist will be well versed in managing multi-channel budgets and operations, including experience in defining, build-out, launch, reporting and optimization. Vendor and partner management experience is key.

*Develop effective lead generation paid media campaigns pursuant to clients’ strategic goals and stated budgets.
*Conduct keyword research (discovery and expansion), review and editing of creative copy (titles and descriptions), review and analysis, and closed-loop reporting.
*Grow and optimize campaign portfolio through testing (A/B and Multivariate) with ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywording, and other tactics.
*Develop near and long-term paid media account strategies, roadmaps and execute day-to-day tactics that increase revenue, site traffic, conversion and margins.
*Consult subject matter expert on paid media topics, costs, operations, and expected results.
*Work with ID’s media partners to establish the best rates on behalf of our clients
Establish meaningful trust and accountability with assigned clients.
*Document and communicate project dependencies and deliverables needed from the client.
*Remain current on paid media optimization tools, best practices and infuse that knowledge into the agency.

*2-4 years experience directly managing multi-channel paid media campaigns
*Google AdWords and Google Analytics certification strongly preferred
*Exceptional copywriting and editorial skills
*Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred
*Very strong business, marketing, and web writing skills, including SEO
*Basic HTML, website maintenance and administration preferred
*Highly organized and process/efficiency oriented
*Expert Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
*Experience with online collaboration/project management tools (Basecamp, GoogleDocs)
*Experience with web analytics packages (Google Analytics, Omniture)
*Email marketing or marketing automation experience preferred (Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)
*Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience preferred (, SugarCRM)
*Social media experience preferred (Raven, Optify, Quora, LinkedIn)
*You must have your own laptop/software programs for this contract-to-hire position
