BrightNest is an exciting Denver-based startup that makes it easy and fun to care for your home. From money-saving tips to helpful reminders, BrightNest provides personalized home tips and tools that will simplify your life.
We’re looking for a dynamic, creative, self-motivated individual with skills and interest in writing for the web. In addition to researching, writing and fact-checking site content, this person will also work closely with the other members of the Content Team to generate new topics and create our editorial calendar. Tasks require a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
•Create content for organization’s web presence including blog posts, how-to articles and infographics (requires working with content management software)
•Maintain a consistent brand presence and voice throughout all writing projects
•Work cooperatively with key team members
•Stay current with the competitive landscape, best practices for online engagement and content distribution
What we provide:
•$2,000 / month (20-30 hrs/wk expected).

•0-2 years experience creating and publishing content for the web

•Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or a related field
•Bonus Points: Experience with or enthusiasm for home-related topics (e.g. DIY, Home & Garden, Interior Design, Home Improvement, etc)
