What's the deal with this Denver agency?

A local interactive agency (I'm sure you will figure out which one) recently (within the last two days) posted a job listing here on the Egotist. It is a very broad-scoped posting for Junior-to-Senior level developers. I feel like I have seen this exact same posting, same description word for word, at other times in the past. This confuses me for the following reasons:

1. How can the same job description possibly apply for all levels of workers? It seems like someone is just being lazy in not updating the job description at all.

2. Didn't this same agency just lay off a bunch of people within the past few months? Now they are hiring? What gives?

I would love any insight anyone has to give. I myself, am a developer, hoping to get my foot in an agency door at some point, and this agency always seemed like it might be a cool place to work... though I realize that by writing this post I am most likely ruining any chance I might have of working there (which I guess is ok, 'cuz at this point I'm not sure I would want to).

Admittedly, I don't know that much about them, and I'm wondering if anyone else can explain any part of this seemingly odd behavior.

Littlelulu - Thanks for the comment. I'm guessing you are talking about Xylem. In retrospect it does seem a little lazy but we are looking for all shapes and sizes for the development side of the house. Looks like we didn't nail that one very well. We'll change it. In terms of the staff... We did lose a couple people on the Leereedy side due to losing Atkins but have since replaced the business.

If you are interested I'd love to talk about what you are looking for in terms of a job. Even if you just wanna come by and see the office I'm cool with whatever. I'm always down for getting to know other developers in the area.
