Underground Art Co-Op needs real f*$#ing good artists
The DAS Art Council has partnered with Gratis Studios to offer more than 2,000 sq. ft. of underground studio space beneath 734 Santa Fe Dr, dedicated to empowering independent artists. So if you haven't heard, starting May 1 there will be a new studio co-op in the heart of the Santa Fe ArtWalk called the Denver Art Underground.
We are looking for 3-4 more artists to join us as Founding Members of the Denver Art Underground. Monthly membership dues are $150, which includes your own 200-400 sq. ft. studio underneath the ArtWalk, beginning May 1.
We are looking for good artists who can bring change to the district. We are looking for personable people who can work together. The studio is beneath a public art school, so we may also show slight favor to anyone with interest in teaching or volunteering a few hours a week at the school.
The full Membership Agreement is at denverart.co/artist
If you are interested in relocating to the subterranean depths of the Art District, please carefully read the entire Membership Agreement and visit the link at the bottom by Monday.
Please complete the application anytime this weekend to be considered. We will make an announcement on Monday, and we should like to have all Members' names included in our first press release.
Thank you! We look forward to seeing what kind of art we can... unearth.
P.S. The doors open May 1st — check us out this First Friday!
