• Denver 50 Show Promo Game

More brainless entertainment from Fueld Films pushing you and yours to the NDAC Denver 50 show on Thursday. Should be fun, if only because we don’t have to listen to some old fart reading off the winners all night long.

What happens when New Belgium brews a quadruple strength beer and tests it out on the agency creatives? This Cultivator video happens, that’s what. Funny shit, though.

  • Barnhart is Ready to Blow

As Denver’s oldest ad agency, Barnhart has been old reliable for quite sometime. They pop up in pitches. They knock a few campaigns out of the park. But overall they’ve been cruising steady below the radar.

What you might know, but likely don’t, is that the last few months have been the quiet before the storm. Two very vital pieces have fallen into place for the agency over the last six months. The kind that will soon have you saying, “Oh shit, we’re pitching against these guys again?”

#1 – Tasso Stathopulos has been secured as director of design.

#2 – John Bellina has been hired as creative director – fresh off executive level positions at TBWA\Tequila, Hal Riney and Publicis West.

    Can’t say you weren’t warned.

  • Celestial Seasonings Print From TDA

The new print work from TDA Advertising and Design for Celestial Seasonings has been popping up across news sites over the last few days, including The New York Times – and the campaign ain’t your mama’s last-generation tea advertising.

Positioning the teas as the no-cal alternative to calorie-maxed coffee drinks from Starbucks and other coffee retailers, the work is visual and succinctly to the point. More sharp work courtesy of TDA – making us truly consider the commute up to Boulder.

Oh damn, they’re back at it again. Table2Press just finished a poster for a concert celebrating the release of The Relief Project Vol. 2: A Colorado Story of Music – an album featuring 18 of Colorado’s best emerging bands and artists.

These guys give away much of the design they do for free to causes they believe in. We believe in getting them some paying work next time you need something fresh in this medium. Keep at it, fellas. Good things will come.

Seems like eons ago that this account changed hands from Karsh\Hagan over to Cactus. You’ll have to trust us when we say the spot is far more riveting on the movie screen than on your wimpy, little computer screen.

You’ll also likely agree it’s much easier when it plays right for you on our site than having to visit Cactus’ site to see the work. Damn union talent agreement is preventing them from easily sharing it with the world. So take a trip over to the Cactus site and click the orange TV tab #15 for a view. They worked with @radical.media and director Rosey to shoot it. Movin’ on up.
