The Eyeball Ninja is a comedian and a disabled, paraplegic expert skier and storyteller here in Denver. He shoots vids of himself skiing and narrates them afterward to post on YouTube. For some videos, he needs an illustrator to illustrate the concepts of skiing to be instructional for others. He's looking for simple short animated sequences of a guy skiing and close-up drawings of "where the ski meets the snow" (if you catch his drift).
He assures the videos will be funny, you'll be payed a reasonable hourly rate for your drawings and you'll be credited generously for your work. He's a disabled army veteran and moviemaker. Help a Denver dude out by contacting him here: http://denver.craigslist.org/crg/2351164387.html.
Fiat Street Evo is the coolest car catalog ever made. It’s an app that recognizes traffic signs and transforms them into features of the new Punto Evo – with prizes hidden behind every sign to turn learning about the car into a game. Agency: Leo Burnett Iberia, Madrid.
Sean Ohlenkamp, an art director at Lowe Roche in Toronto, showed his wife how much he loved her on their anniversary the only way he knew how. Using his Mac. It even made us smile. And that ain't easy.
This is the first of what will be a series of handmade artists books based around explorations of place from Denver photographer Benjamin Rasmussen. The piece was sent to art buyers and photo editors both in Colorado and nationally. Bet he'd send you one if you asked nice.
"I decided that instead of making generic postcard promos and shotgun blasting them at everyone I could, I would pursue something that was much more personal to me. I wanted to do something that took commitment and creativity and not just a a pile of stamps and an address list service. I took the my marketing budget and invested it in bookboard and cloth, and a pile of paper and glue. I learned bookmaking and screen printing and made 20 screw post books for 20 photo editors and art directors.

It's been an amazing first five years for Denver/Pasadena digital agency, The1stMovement. Here's to many more.
ONCE is intimate, invite-only, two-way, no holds barred and focused on our market. It is not a person at a podium giving the same speech they did last week in some other city. With free drinks to put everyone at ease, ONCE is lead by a different creative mind each time, focused on a topic they know best, and is intended to be a groupthink that makes everyone who attends sharper. ONCE is never the same twice.
Our next ONCE event is Tuesday, May 10 in Denver. We're giving two seats away to the session. Here's how you score one. Answer this question in the comment section below as a logged in member (so we can contact you when we pick winners):
