It’s so hard not to love everything Mother does. And here’s one more example to add to that big pile of huggable work. The London agency sent out a spam-like email to a couple hundred people, telling them they win $10k if they respond with their full name and full and verified bank details. One man did, if you believe it, and the guys at Mother showed up at his house with a suitcase full of 10 large and gave it to him (which he turned around and donated to a charity). We’re off to respond to the spam we have sitting in the bin.
Here’s a video making the rounds that shows two computer store employees demonstrating HP’s new facial tracking software – and its inability to detect and track the faces of black people. Only the wild, frothing internet would deem HP racist after seeing this video, instead of passing it off for what it logically is: an unfortunate bug in the technology.
Brand New has posted what it deems the best and worth revamped identities of 2009. Can’t say we agree with all of their choices, but there are a number of worthy picks on either side of the list. Your assessment?
