If you saw ‘District 9’ (the movie of the year as far as we’re concerned), you’ll remember that the prawns had an insatiable appetite for cat food. The Jupiter Drawing Room took advantage of tying into this aspect of the movie for their client, Lucky Pet cat food.
When moviegoers left the theater after seeing the film, they were confronted with an array of Lucky Pet tins bearing stickers reading “Loved by Cats. And other Creatures.” To further extend the talk-value of the idea, viewers were given tins of Lucky Pet to take home, and promoters reported a sell-out rate of interest from those leaving the movie.
There’s a good chance this spot was concepted by the dim-witted models themselves. ‘Cause the hotter it gets, the more clothes they take off. We’re getting ready to light our pleather couch on fire now. There we go, burn baby burn.
