  • Denver's Monty Miranda Named Creative Director for Amos Content Group

    For those wondering what director Monty Miranda’s been up to since doing really well with his first feature film, “Skills Like This,” he’s just been named Creative Director at Amos Content Group in Los Angeles. In his new position, Miranda will oversee the development of all online and out-of-home video productions helmed by the Amos Content Group.

    Miranda is a successful commercial director who has lead television campaigns for Coca Cola, McDonalds, Coors and hundreds of other major brands. His productions have been nominated for a Clio, an Effie and an Addy and have been featured in the BBC’s “Most Outrageous Commercials” and Fox Television’s “World’s Funniest Commercials” television specials.

Between the likes of ESPI, Adamator, runrobot, Spillt, Stileloot, a handful of others and our newest discovery, Subkast (aka Brandon Wheatley), there’s a grip of motion graphics and animation talent here in Colorado. We hope you’re taking advantage of that fact.

    Brandon’s been solidifying his motion work over the last half-decade, working at Xylem Digital, Factory Design Labs and most recently during the last year as a freelancer. As a lancer, he’s created a combination of web and broadcast motion projects for Audi, Vail Resorts, Jack Link’s, SanDisk, Charter Business and more. And he deserves to be busy.     For a new, higher-end Fort Collins restaurant called El Monté Grill and Lounge owned by the same group as The (margarita-rifiic) Rio, Burns Marketing Communication, Johnstown has just launched a new campaign – featuring outdoor, radio and social experimentation.

    Using the tagline ‘Gratify Your Gusto,’ Burns positioned the restaurant as a Latin-inspired experience so that the chefs can explore all kinds of foods and flavors without being limited by anything particular. That way, they can serve margaritas and this fancy drink called an Esteban (basically a Tanqueray 10 mojito), delicious tacos and guacamole, filet mignon, sugar-cane skewered shrimp and scallops, and whatever else they dream up.
