• Boulder's Victors & Spoils Creates Killer Visual Identity System for Adidas MLS

    / Comments (4)

Adidas is the official athletic sponsor of US Major League Soccer. They challenged V&S with creating a visual identity system for their 2013 campaign that was modular enough to feature multiple players, teams, footwear launches, new jersey designs and the energy of each team’s fan base… ALL in the same design.

"We called our solution PLAY WITH AN EDGE – an idea that visualizes Adidas innovation through graphic, geometric "shards" that can magnify both human and product stories in any combination. Our final deliverable was a visual guide that Adidas could distribute to any vendor, retail partner or in-house designer that demonstrated how to execute the look and ensure consistency across hundreds of different mediums."

    Complex problem, solved beautifully.

A shift in emphasis, from “less stressful” to “faster,” marks the latest iterations of FirstBank’s ongoing “Mortgages Made Easy” advertising, with each ad based on the newfound free time a quick mortgage offers. (How wisely you use that time is not the bank’s concern.) The campaign, including TV and print, is by TDA_Boulder. It's also the bank’s first TV advertising outside of its home state, Colorado.

TDA's also enjoying Comment Free Friday, sharing their work with you without commentary. Submit your work for CFF here and please make a note that you want it posted on Friday without comment.

  • Coke Finds a Hidden Danish Flag in Their Logo, Makes it a Welcome Symbol for Travelers

    / Comments (0)

Denmark has been named the happiest country in the world in several global surveys, with the latest by the UN. So it was a happy accident to find the Danish flag hidden in the Coca-Cola logo.

McCann decided to take this discovery to Denmark’s biggest airport where it’s a tradition to welcome people with flags. But not everyone brings one and the welcome isn’t as big and happy as it could be. So McCann created a special poster where people could take flags straight from the Coke logo — giving everyone the chance to create a happy welcome to the world’s happiest country.

There are those who are in this industry for the paycheck (although, we question their math skills), and those who are in it for the passion. Make is an evening celebrating the latter. Come make a little street art, make a new connection and help us make a dent in our liquor supply.
